Stella Orlowski

Orlowski, Stella, 96 years old, passed gently yesterday, January 23, 2013 at home while surrounded by her children. She was three weeks shy of her 97th birthday on Valentine’s Day, Stella was indeed everybody’s sweetheart. Her uplifting, charismatic nature generated such positive energy that left all in her presence feeling special.

Stella was the wife of the late Anthony Orlowski, and beloved mother of five sons and one daughter: James Orlowski, George Orlowski, John Orlowski, Faye Orlowski, Daniel Orlowski and David Orlowski and grandmother to seven grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Stella loved music and she especially loved to sing. She spent decades as a high soprano in her church choir at St. Catherine’s Greek Orthodox church. She brought joy to all and will truly be missed!

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A celebration of life service will be held at 9:15am on Monday prior to the Funeral service in St. Catherine Greek Orthodox Church, Braintree Monday at 10AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
