Stella M. Burke

Burke, Stella M. (LeGrice) of Quincy, died November 16, 2013.

Stella worked for many years for the Commonwealth of Mass as an administrative assistant. She also worked as a Teacher’s Aide with the Quincy Public Schools at the Pollard School. She was very involved with the Girl Scouts of America and loved animals especially cats.

Beloved wife of the late Dennis F. Burke.

Loving mother of Edward D. Burke (Marilyn) of Hampden, Denise F. Wells of Quincy, Donald F. Burke (Marsha), of Norfolk, NE, Robert P. Burke, (Patricia) of Pembroke, Neil J. Burke, (Sally), of Morehead City, NC, Laurence J. Burke (Vicki) of Scituate, and Kenneth J. Burke (Nancy) of Winchendon. Also survived by 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, one niece, one nephew, and a large extended family.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 10:15 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 11 AM. Burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury.
