Stanley H. Scott

Scott, Stanley H. of Weymouth, formerly of North Quincy, died January 10, 2013 at the age of 88.

Beloved husband of the late Anita A. (Ackles).  Loving father of Donald M. Scott of Abington, Stanley H. Scott, Jr of Brockton, Donna M. Brownlee of California, and Sally A. Scott of S. Weymouth. Brother of the late Doris Smith, Robert Scott and Harold “Joonyah” Scott. Grandfather of Lisa, Andrew, Michelle, Scott, Emily, and Claire. Great-grandfather of Jonathan. Also survived by many nieces.

Born in Boston, Stan grew up in North Quincy, and was a proud graduate of North Quincy High School, Class of 1942 before moving South Weymouth in 1954.Working as a bread salesman, in his spare time Stan enjoyed playing pool, spending time with his family, listening to music, sitting on the wharf in Bayside, Maine and of course, all the Boston sport teams.  He was also a World War II veteran serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps and a lifelong member of the Masons. He will be missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 6-8pm in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, followed by his funeral service at 8 PM.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the MSPCA, 350 S. Huntington Ave, Boston, MA 02130 or to Weymouth Youth and Family Services, 1393 Pleasant Street, Weymouth, MA 02189.
