Stanley H. Bourgeois

Bourgeois Stanley H. Jr of Hingham passed away September 27th, 2021 at the age of 67.

Born in New Bedford on June 9th, 1954 he was the beloved son to the late Stanley and to Cremilde Bourgeois, youngest brother to the late John Bourgeois of California and Fr. Richard Bourgeois of the Glastonbury Abbey in Hingham and dearest Uncle to Jennifer Kane and her husband Jim of Wellesley and great niece Caroline Kane.

Stanley graduated from New Bedford High School in 1973 and went on to work for the Sunbeam Bread company for over twenty-five years until there closing. As a result of his many years there he developed a love of baking and creating his own recipes.

While living in Hingham, he enjoyed walking the neighborhood, running errands and talking with neighbors. He loved all thing sports and weather. His kind and generous soul will be sorely missed.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Glastonbury Abbey on October 11th at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Glastonbury Abbey: 16 Hull Street, Hingham, MA 02043.
