Stamatios A. Papamarkos

PAPAMARKOS, Stamatios A. 85, of Quincy, and Andros, Greece died Friday July 20, 2018.  

Born in Andros, Greece he was a son of the late Anthony Papamarkos and Irene (Raisi) Papamarkou.  Beloved husband of 59 years of Adamantia (Katsikis) Papamarkou.  Devoted father of Irene Papamarkou of Braintree, and the late Maria Papamarkou.  Brother of Dina Douras of Andros, Greece, and the late Anastasia Voltis, Mary Palyaros, and Dimitri, Augustus, and John Papamarkos.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  

Stamatios was devoted to his family, and truly enjoyed returning to Andros, to tend to his farm. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday from 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 AM in St. Catherine Greek Orthodox Church, Braintree. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
