Sophie A. Holt

Holt, Sophie (Wilde) of Quincy, died on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. Wife of the late John Holt. Loving mother of MaryAnn Holt-Barboza of Mashpee, Nancy Holt, Christine Hamilton and her husband Daniel and Sandra Holt all of Quincy, James Saropoulos of Somerville and the late John Holt, Jr. Sophie is also survived by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was always up for the challenge of a puzzle. She enjoyed shopping and cooking. She was at her happiest when she was surrounded by her family. Sophie remained independent right up to the end. She will be sadly missed by her family who feel very blessed to have had her in their lives. She was a blessing to all of them! Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, on Saturday, Nov. 26 at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations, in memory Sophie may be made to the Leukemia Society, 9 Erie Drive, Framingham MA 01760.
