Shirley M. Shepherd

Shepherd, Shirley M. (Lemon) of Quincy, passed away April 2, 2017.  

Shirley was born in Quincy and resided there her entire life. She attended Massasoit College where she obtained her Associate’s Degree. She worked for Codman and Shurtleff as a Customer Service Representative for 22 years and was also an Assistant Teacher at Atherow Hough in Hough’s Neck. Shirley loved her life, especially her family. Her son and her grandson meant everything to her. She will be remembered for her constant “happy-go-lucky” outlook on life. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Daughter of the late Arthur and Virginia Lemon. Dear wife of the late John Knudsen. Cherished mother of the late Scott D. Shepherd. Beloved sister of Patricia Perkins and her husband James of Quincy, Fredrick Lemon of MD, and the late Richard Lemon. Caring grandmother of Colin Shepherd. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Church in Weymouth at 9:30 on Thursday April 4th, 2017. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Shirley may be made to American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
