Shirley A. Macneil

MacNeil, Shirley A. (Flanagan) of Quincy, March 15, 2009. Beloved mother of Krystle Woolf of Quincy. Loving sister of Lorraine Lloyd of Whitman and the late Donna Flanagan and Lillian (Trant) Knowles. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Shirley’s focus in her life was raising and caring for her niece Krystle, who became the daughter she never had. She enjoyed her work as a Nursing Assistant and cared for many people over the years. Shirley had a fondness for reading, crochet, Pepsi and cigarettes. She will be remembered for her quick wit and wonderful sense of humor. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Life Celebration Service in Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Monday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint John’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 4-8 PM. Cremation will follow.
