Shirlene (Carver) Stewart of Billerica, died unexpectedly on June 25, 2021. Wife of the late Bruce Stewart . Mother of Pamela Kuzia and her partner Robert Shields of Weymouth, Dru Gillespie and her husband Michael of Methuen, Mark Kuzia of Dorchester and the late Brenda Kuzia. Sister of Sandy Jones and Rodney Carver both of Eden, Utah and the late Larry and Reed Carver. Nana to Matthew Russell, Michael Gillespie, Jr. and Erik Gillespie.
Shirlene raised her family in Dorchester with her former husband Chester Kuzia. Later in her life she moved to Billerica. Shirlene worked in accounts receivable for Bank of Boston in Dorchester for more than 25 years. She loved to travel with her late husband Bruce. They went to the Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City and talked forever about their trip to Ireland. Shirlene truly enjoyed her home in Billerica. Shirelen also loved her neighborhood friends, going on walks, shopping and lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. She also enjoyed volunteering at Billerica Historical Society. She will be sadly missed.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Tuesday June 29 from 9-11 AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home North Weymouth, 40 Sea Street ( off RT. 3A – Bickenell Square) A Funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 11 AM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home.
Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
