Canonico, Sheila (Collins) of Hingham, formerly of Hyde Park, October 26, 2008. Loving mother of Joseph & wife Hope, Kevin, all of Weymouth, Tina & husband Greg Diercks of Plymouth and David of Hingham. Former wife of Joseph Canonico of Weymouth. Loving sister of Joan M. Dunn of Hingham, Maureen Cassidy of Weymouth, the late Patricia A. Monahan and the late John P. Collins. Sister in law of Ellen Collins of Hull, Richie Monahan of Quincy, Jimmy Cassidy of Weymouth and the late Jackie Dunn. Devoted grandmother of Melyssa Canonico and Jennifer Diercks. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Sheila worked for Hitchcock Shoe in Hingham for many years. She enjoyed dancing, Irish music and summer days at the beach. She had a great sense of humor and will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Life Celebration Service in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM Thursday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 PM. Burial in Saint Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham.
