Sharon M. Notarangelo

Sharon M. (Loiacono)  Notarangelo of Scituate, died December 17, 2024, she was 57. The beloved wife of 33 years to Paul Notarangelo of Scituate. Cherished mother of John Notarangelo and his fiance Courtney of Norwell and Allison Notarangelo and her fiance Tim of Quincy. Loving daughter of John Loiacono and his longtime companion Nina Fuda of Hingham and her late mother Judy Amonte. Sister of Lisa Lloyd and her husband Christopher of California. Sister in law Lauren and Paul Gratta of Norwell, Tracey Mitchell of Hull, Gina Notarangelo of Norwell and Jack and Kim Notarangelo of Hanover. Sharon is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. 

Sharon was born and raised in Hingham. She devoted her life to her family, raising her two children, John and Allison, with her beloved husband, Paul.

Sharon was a passionate gardener, an avid hiker who loved spending time outdoors with her dogs, and cherished every moment spent with family and friends. She was raised in a large, close-knit Italian family, and her love and loyalty to them will continue to live on. Sharon's vibrant spirit and infectious energy lit up every room she entered, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Sharon enjoyed a recent trip to Italy with Paul, where they created beautiful memories together. She also had a love for shopping, whether browsing online or visiting her favorite stores. But above all, Sharon’s heart was dedicated to her family, and she took immense pride in her children, John and Allison, and their significant others.

Sharon will be lovingly remembered by her cousins, extended family, and a wide circle of friends. Her legacy of love, kindness, and joy will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Since being diagnosed with Appendix Cancer a little over a year ago, she never stopped fighting. Her strength was admirable and will never be forgotten. Throughout her battle she never once complained and always praised the little things in life. 

A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 20th at 10:30am at St. Mary's Church, 392 Hanover St. Hanover, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Sharon may be made to Scituate Animal Shelter, 780 Chief Justice Cushing Highway, Scituate MA 02066.
