Serena S. Zangrillo

Zangrillo, Serena S. (Saracino) of Hingham, formerly of NY, FL, and Duxbury, passed away June 21, 2011 at the age of 90. She was the wife of the late Angelo L. Zangrillo. Loving mother of JoAnne Zangrillo and her husband Solomon Levin of West Newton and Tina Zangrillo of Weston, CT. Devoted “Mema” to Jared Levin, Samantha Levin, Alex DeVito, and Zach DeVito. Sister of the late Danny and Ozzie Saracino. Sister in law of Florence Saracino of Maybrook, NY, June Saracino of CA, and John and Marian Zangrillo of Chester, NY. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Serena retired from the Bank of New York as a vice-president in 1983. She spent over 30 winters in Aruba where she met many friends. She was a member of the Retired Bankers of America and the Catholic Daughters of America at the Church of the Assumption in Maybrook, NY. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Friday from 10:45-11:45 AM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, 147 North St., Hingham at Noon. Committal service at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Montgomery, NY on Saturday at 1 PM.
