Seaward B. “Buddy” Forbes

Forbes, Seaward B. “Buddy” of South Easton, formerly of Braintree & Stoneham, November 7, 2008. Devoted husband of 25 years to Helen (Hurley) Forbes. Beloved father of George Forbes & wife Sheri of Orange, CA, and Stacey and her husband Peter Carr of Scituate. Brother of Phyllis Goodrich of NH. Cherished grandfather to Andrew Forbes & Ashley Forbes of CA, Katelyn Carr of Scituate, and John Burke of Billerica. Buddy retired as an electrical engineer from the MDC after 38 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was a member of the American Legion and the Redmen Club. An avid Patriots fan, his hobbies included woodworking, golf, and model trains. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Life Celebration Service in Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Friday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Donations in memory of Buddy may be made to Old Colony Hospice, 1 Credit Union Way, Randolph, MA 02368.
