Sean R. Glennon

Sean R. Glennon of Rockland, passed away in a tragic accident on November 3, 2018.

Sean graduated from UMASS Boston with a bachelor’s degree in Science and went on to achieve his master’s degree in education from Boston University. Through Teach for America, Sean worked at New Bedford High School for two years, teaching science and mentoring many youth towards higher education. He was always an ambitious and goal oriented man and was currently in his second year of medical school at Kent State with the dream of being a podiatry surgeon. Sean’s daughter was the light of his life and any free time was spent enjoying her. He will be deeply missed.  

Devoted fiancé of Melissa Eaton of Rockland. Cherished daddy of Madelyn Glennon. Beloved son of Kevin and Diana (Haley) Glennon of Weymouth. Loving brother of Kyle Glennon and his wife Angela, their son Ethan, and his brother Robert Glennon, all of Weymouth. Grandson of Bridie and the late William Glennon of Pembroke and Betty and the late Robert Haley of VT. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).

Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM.

Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
