Sarah T. (Mcdermott) Doyle

Sarah T. (McDermott) of Hingham, formerly of Dorchester, died on Saturday, August 7, 2010. Devoted wife of the late Edward J. Doyle. Beloved mother of Anne M. McCann of Hingham and the late Edward Doyle, Jr. and Richard Doyle. Cherished grandmother of David McCann and his wife Jennifer of Pawcatuck, CT, Michael McCann of Weymouth, and Karin and her husband Brooks Templeton of Weymouth. Loving sister of Eileen Hodgens of Syracuse, NY and the late Margaret Kenney, Mary Long, Anna Hearn, Alice Duby, and Josephine Morris. Dear great-grandmother of Erin, Megan, and Brendan McCann and Olivia and Luke Templeton. Also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Sarah was very active in her church and was a member of the Ladies Sodality at St. Gregory’s Church in Dorchester. She also volunteered for the American Red Cross. Sarah’s true passion in life was her family. She adored her family and will be truly missed by them. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Monday, August 9th from 4 – 8 pm in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald Street, HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 am on Tuesday, August 10th prior to the Funeral Mass in Saint Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 am. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
