Sara A. Mackinnon

MacKinnon, Sara of Quincy, died October 25, 2017.

Sara was born in Prince Edward Island, Canada. Throughout her life, Sara was passionate about caring for others. Although Sara had no children of her own, she was a second mother to Mike, Charlie, Leo, Larry and Margaret, and numerous nieces and nephews. Sara was a devout Catholic whose faith carried her through all of life’s challenges. Sara’s kindness, generosity and sense of humor was truly an example of how life should be lived. She will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Sara is survived by her brother, Harold MacKinnon and his wife, Mary and sister Celia MacInnis. She is predeceased by brothers Joe, Paddy, Kenny, DF, Victor and sister Edna.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Agatha’s Church, Milton at 10:30 AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
