Sandra E. Finch

Finch, Sandra E. (Keenan) of Hull, 69, passed away April 3, 2014 with her daughters by her side.

Sandy’s family meant the world to her, especially her cherished grandchildren.  Loving mother of Alisa Finch of Wareham, Jennifer (Finch) Zemotel of Quincy, and the late Charles Finch, III.  Grandmother to Nicole Page, Robert Page, Ryan Finch, Matthew Magnell, Andrew Zemotel and Kaitlyn Zemotel.  Daughter of the late Leo W. Keenan, Sr. and Dorothy K. (Waldron) Delmonaco.  She is also survived by her sister and brothers and many nieces & nephews.

A lifelong resident of Hull, Sandy loved the beach both in the summer sun and winter storms.  She had a love of animals and would often take in stray cats or help a bird mend a broken wing.  She had many creative interests such as drawing, painting, gardening, sewing, knitting and arts & crafts.  She also enjoyed music, baseball, football & history.  She enjoyed making people happy and even worked as a professional clown appearing at children’s birthday parties.  She loved to crack jokes and make people laugh, even if she was not feeling well herself.  It was a proud moment when she received her degree from Massasoit Community College.  For many years, she worked as a waitress in Hull at Angelo’s Spaghetti House, La Galleria Restaurant, Hull House of Pizza and Sar Ho Village.  She also enjoyed her work as a home health aide.  Sandy was an extremely generous person who was constantly helping others.  She would open up her home to many people and make them feel welcome.  Sandy will be remembered as a strong, courageous and giving person.  She will be sadly missed by all that knew her.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 p.m. in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM.  A service to celebrate her life will be held in the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Thursday prior to the burial in Hull Village Cemetery, Hull.
