Samuel Solomon, Jr.

Solomon, Samuel, Jr. of Braintree, died May 4, 2013 with family at his side.

Loving father of Kim A. Sullivan and her husband, Donald, Craig S. Solomon and his wife, Donna, and  Jason J. Solomon and his wife, Amy. Beloved husband of Darlene R. Solomon, and Stepfather to her three children, James M. Braddock, Nicole C. and Kathleen E.A. LaGrasso. Adoring brother of Lorraine Hayes, Dale Campbell, Robert, Gerald, and Richard Solomon and the late James and Albert Solomon and Marion Armstrong. Husband of the late Margaret R. Solomon. Long time trusted friend Edward ‘Spike’ Cave and his wife Margaret. Also survived by 9 loving grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was a painter for many years for the Poloroid Corporation. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and also cooking. Samuel also cherished the time spent with his family and grandchildren. He was also a veteran serving with the United States Navy.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Funeral services will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
