Sal was a professional painter who took pride in his work. He was often called upon to consult or provide opinions to other colleagues. Being a perfectionist, he took pride in his work, especially his home and his children’s homes. Sal enjoyed the outdoors, especially the ocean. His passion was going fishing with his grandchildren. If they were not around, he would go with his brother Robert or his son Nick. When he wasn’t at home playing cribbage and hosting company you could find him sitting down by the sea wall; passing time reading his favorite authors or watching the coming and going of the ships. Also known as the mayor of Weyboset St., Sal’s neighbors would often walk past his house, joyfully derailed by banter with the skilled conversationalist. Everyone loved Sal.
