Sally Ann Sullivan

Sullivan, Sally Ann (Styles) of S. Weymouth, formerly of Rochester, NY, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2024, with family by her side. Sally was born in Rochester to the late Morris and Mary Styles. She was a graduate of Nazareth Academy High School and St. Mary’s Hospital School of Nursing. Sally moved to Boston in 1957 and worked as a nurse at Mass General Hospital and for over 40 years at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. Sally was an avid knitter, making baby sweaters and blankets for family and friends. She enjoyed gardening and traveling, especially to Cape Cod. Her greatest joy was spending time with family, especially her five grandchildren who brought her immense joy, attending sporting events, dance recitals, graduations and shopping trips. Sally was a member of the St Francis Sodality Society and volunteered for the Friends of South Shore Hospital. She will be remembered for her loving and nourishing personality and her deep affection for the nursing profession.

Beloved wife of the late John J. "Jack" Sullivan. Loving mother of Kevin Sullivan of Wakefield, Brian Sullivan and wife Kathleen of Whitman, Paul Sullivan and wife Christine of Pembroke and Eileen Sullivan and husband James Perreault of Concord. Devoted grandmother of Jonathan, Thomas, Alyson, Mary and Christopher. Sister of Maurene and the late Mary Ellen, Carolyn and Charles. Sister-in-law of Martha Styles and Joanne Daly. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Monday, August 12th, 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte. 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Tuesday, August 13th, prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Friends of South Shore Health or a charity of your choice in Sally’s name.
