Ruth V. (Goodrich) Mcnulty

Ruth V. (Goodrich) McNulty, of Quincy and formerly of East Boston, died peacefully on Monday, November 9, 2020 at the Care Dimensions in Lincoln. She was 77.

Born in Boston on July 8, 1943, she was raised in Burlington and was the daughter of the late John and Marion Goodrich. Ruth attended local schools and graduated from Burlington High School, with the Class of 1960. Following high school, Ruth began her career in banking. She was an accounts manager and enjoyed her work as well as the relationships she built throughout the years.

The most important part of Ruth’s life was family. She loved her husband, children, step children, grand children and great grandchildren more than anything. Her life lessons and example are part of her legacy that continue through her family. She will be missed by all the lives she touched.

Ruth was the beloved wife of John T. McNulty Jr., with whom she shared many loving years of marriage. She was the devoted mother of Keith McNulty of Florida. Ruth was the devoted stepmother of Kathleen A. Swanner of Winthrop, Theresa Page and her husband Edward G. Page III of Revere,  John McNulty and his wife Karen of Winthrop, James McNulty and his wife Gina of East Boston, Dennis McNulty of Boston and the late Patricia McNulty. She was also the loving grandmother of 14 and the loving great grandmother of four. Ruth was a cherished aunt of Paul McNulty and his wife Nancy of Quincy and the late James McNulty.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Ruth’s visiting hours on Sunday, November 22, 2020 from 4 through 7 PM at the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.

Her funeral service and interment will be held privately.
