Ruth M. Stevenson

Stevenson, Ruth M. of Weymouth, died December 13, 2018, surrounded by her family.

Ruth lived her early life in Roxbury with her family, moving to Weymouth in the late 60’s. She achieved a degree in engineering, which helped her secure her key role at New England Telephone Company. Ruth was a supporter of charities that helped the blind and those with rheumatoid arthritis.

Sister of Mary Ellen Hall, and her late husband Jesse Hall of Weymouth and the late John I Stevenson, Jr. Aunt of Heidi Herring and her husband Mark of Weymouth, Donna Landry-Hartford and her husband Bruce Hartford of Pensacola, FL and Donna’s late husband Joseph Landry. Also survived by many great nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM. Burial in Old North Cemetery, Weymouth.
