Ruth M. Gulick

Gulick, Ruth M. (Wolfe) of Scituate, MA and Sarasota, FL, passed away February 16, 2017. 

Ruth was born in Omaha, Nebraska. She attended the University of Nebraska Omaha and graduated near the top of her class with a Bachelor’s Degree. She was a sales and marketing executivefor many years. Ruth was a very successful woman, spending many years with the Marriott Corporation and New England Advertising Associates. She volunteered for the Resurrection House and other charitable organizations. She loved to read, cook, taking walks and being a good friend. Her family was the cornerstone of her life. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.

Loving wife to the late William Gulick. Dear mother to Brian Hlidek and his wife Becky of Hingham. Cherished sister to Tom Wolfe of Omaha, Lucille Gregg of Omaha, and the late Charles Wolfe, Alice McCarthy, and Eileen Damhoff. Caring grandmother to Charlie, Will and Gordon Hlidek of Hingham. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family who she loved.

Funeral services will be private. Donations in memory of Ruth may be made to Hospice of the South Shore, 30 Reservoir Park Drive, Rockland, MA 02370.
