Ruth M. (Cummings) Nigro

Mrs. Ruth M. (Cummings) Nigro, of Weymouth, died December 16, 2022.

Ruth worked for over 40 years at the Boston Globe as a librarian. She always enjoyed photography and had a passion following all of her Boston sports teams. She will be deeply missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Beloved wife of  Richard A. Nigro.

Sister of Diana Spencer of Rockland and the late Gene and Harry Cummings. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visitation on Wednesday from 12  – 1 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital), followed by her Funeral Service at 1 PM

Cremation will follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
