Pannella, Ruth L. (Deschenes) “Ruff” of Randolph, formerly of Quincy, died April 7, 2017.
Ruth adored her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved to travel all over the world, including Disney, Australia, and Italy, but could enjoy a simple cup of coffee on Wollaston Beach as well. Ruth graduated from Quincy High School and after getting her RN, worked as a nurse at Quincy City Hospital where she served on the Bargaining Unit for the Massachusetts Nursing Association. Ruth was a vivacious and upbeat woman. She was determined, strong, and a hard worker. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Beloved wife of the late Robert F. Pannella of Randolph. Loving mother of Laurie Pannella and her husband Michael LaBonte of Taunton, Lisa Pannella and her husband David Tancredi of Wakefield, and William Pannella and his wife Rebecca Nash Pannella of Portsmouth, NH. Dear sister of Edward Deschenes of NH and the late George Deschenes. Cherished Nana to Ryan and Norah Nash Pannella.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 11 AM Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Randolph, at 12 PM. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
