Ruth Elliott

Ruth (Hunt) Elliott of Weymouth died on December 18, 2022, at the age of 96. 

Ruth worked her entire life and once retired enjoyed spending winters in Florida.  She was quick witted, an avid reader, excellent cook, and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. 

Ruth was the beloved wife of the late William Elliott.  Loving mother of Jean Thompson of Weymouth.  Sister of Richard (Patty) Hunt of ME, Robert Hunt of FL, and Roy (Marianne) Hunt of Sharon; the late Herbert (Frances) Hunt , the late Claire Hunt, the late Edward Hunt, the late Marjorie (Walter) Lane, and the late Marie Hunt.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service on Thursday, 12/29/2022, at 11:30 AM at McDonald Keohane Funeral Home in SOUTH WEYMOUTH, 809 Main St., Rte. 18 (opposite So. Shore Hospital).  Thank you to the staff at Queen Anne Nursing Center for the compassionate care given to Ruth.  Donations in memory of Ruth may be made to Queen Anne Activity Fund, 50 Recreation Park Drive, Hingham, MA 02043.
