Ruth Elizabeth Achorn

Ruth Elizabeth (Paul) Achorn of Boston, died January 11, 2021. Ruth was born and raised in Boston to the late Bruce and Elizabeth (Ferrie) Paul. Ruth was a dedicated wife, mother and career woman. She loved to travel, enjoyed her cats and spending time with her family.

Beloved wife of 47 years to the late Arthur W. Achorn. Loving mother of Paula M. Achorn of Boston, Mark W. Achorn and his wife Donna of Whitman, Nancy R. McRae and her husband R. James McRae of Pembroke and Scott A. Achorn and his wife Kristin of Norwell. Cherised Nanny of Zachary, Amy, Kerry, Matt, Jenny, Allison, Cameron, and Braden and Great Nanny of Danielle and Jack.

All services shall be private. Normally, the funeral is an opportunity for the community to gather in support of one another. Although we cannot gather together with Ruth’s family at this time, friends may still offer their support by clicking the link above and sharing a special memory or message.
