Wyman, Ruth E. (Foley) of Weymouth September 9, 2007. Devoted wife of William W. Wyman, Sr. of Weymouth. Beloved mother of William “Billy” Wyman, Jr. and his wife Vivian of Susanville, CA, John Paul Wyman and his wife Megan of Lansing, KS, and Deborah Anne and her husband Howard Smith of Weymouth. Loving sister of Maryellen Mohr of FL. Cherished grandmother of Kristina Elizabeth, Brittany Lee, and Shawn Allen Wyman. Also survived by a niece and nephew. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Saturday at 10:30 AM. Visiting hours Friday 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM. Burial in cemetery to be determined. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ruth E. Wyman may be made to American Cancer Society, Central NE Region, 18 Tremont Street, Suite 700, Boston, MA 02108. Ruth was a quiet and gentle woman. She graduated from Northeastern University and was a Mathematician. Shortly after she got married, Ruth stopped working to raise her family. She was a co-owner of Lighthouse Keepers in the early to mid- 1980’s. She worked on the Conservation Committee for town of Weymouth for 15 years. Ruth also worked as a treasurer for the Committee to Elect Selectman Jack Youngclaus for Mayor. Ruth enjoyed quilting with friends, make clothing and bedding for special occasions. Over the past 10 years, Ruth has creatively worked with stain glass and has made all sorts of items. Ruth’s greatest pleasure was her family, children and grandchildren.
