Hopfgarten, Rudy C. of Hingham, April 15, 2004. Beloved husband of Linda (Collins) Hopfgarten of Hingham. Devoted father of Rudy F. of Easton, Paul M., Ann-Marie Currier of Halifax, and Barbara F. Cavanagh of Canton. Dear stepfather of Suzanne Cook, Scott Dwyer, Stacey Houlihan, and the late Stephanie Dwyer. Also survived by 5 grandchildren. Mr. Hopfgarten was a graduate of Dedham High School in 1950, and he graduated from Boston University in 1954. He liked to hunt, fish, and play badminton, and he also coached little league in Canton. Rudy was also an avid Bruins fan. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM Tuesday at 10:30 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Paul’s Church, Hingham Tuesday at 11:30 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 4-8 PM. Burial in Braintree Cemetery, Braintree.
