Roy E. Charron

Roy Edward Charron of Weymouth passed away surrounded by his loving family on June 13, 2022.

 Beloved husband of Judith F. (McArdle) Charron of Weymouth. Cherished father to Teresa Charron and her partner Kevin Davis of Marshfield, Amy McDonald and her husband Michael of Scituate, Rebecca Cohen and her partner Michael Youngs of Marshfield and the late Michael Roy Charron. Loving Papa and Grandpa to Christopher, Jenna, Meghan and Dylan. Also survived by sisters-in-law; June Charron and Susan Welch and brother-in-law David McArdle.  Preceded in death by siblings; Lorraine Cantalupo and Joseph Charron.

 Roy was a graduate of Weymouth High School class of 1959 and earned a bachelor’s degree from Suffolk University class of 1964. Mr. Charron had also earned numerous certifications in the banking industry. He was a longtime member and officer of the Kiwanis Club and an active member of the South Shore Corvette Club.

 Roy will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by all who knew him.

 Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Monday 3-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte.18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM. Burial to follow in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
