Mr. Roy E. Carlson, of Weymouth, died March 31, 2016.

Husband of  Ellen M. (McGrath) Carlson.

Father of  Valerie Carlson of Quincy, Jennifer Galvin and her husband, John, of Eliot, ME, and Sharon Carlson of Hanover.

Step-father of  Arthur McCarthy and his wife, Michele, of Weymouth, Brian McCarthy and his wife, Rhonda, of Weymouth, Dennis McCarthy and his wife, Leah, of Weymouth, and Stephen McCarthy and his wife, Amy, of Bourne. Brother of  Judy Whitman and her husband, Robert, of Stratford, CT, Nancy Stidstone and her husband, Richard of Middleboro, Gary Carlson and his wife, Ellen, of Hanover, Virginia Kelly of Hanson, Janet Asnes and her husband, Kenneth, of Norwell, and the late Steven Carlson and his late wife  Sandi. Also survived by 6 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Funeral services will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11 AM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home. Burial will follow in MA National Cemetery, Bourne.
