Doherty, Rosemary P. “Rosie” (Durkin) of Quincy, June 30, 2008. Beloved wife of Charles P. Doherty. Loving step mother of Maryann Paskell of Hanover and John Doherty of South Boston. Sister of Lelia Lorbes of Brockton. Also survived by 5 grandchildren. Rosemary worked as a registered nurse for Marian Manor in South Boston for many years and later for Friel Nursing Home in Quincy. She was very dedicated to her work. She enjoyed her cats and loved gardening. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Thursday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10 AM. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 PM. Burial in Old Calvary Cemetery, Boston. Donations in Rosie’s memory may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 101 First Ave. #6, Waltham, MA 02451.
