Rosemary L. Butler-Heartquist

Butler-Heartquist, Rosemary L. (Kasel) of Rockland, passed away September 22, 2018.

Rosemary was born in Iowa to the late Aloysius and Myrtle Kasel. She earned her Associates Degree in nursing at Mercy Hospital. She was a proud United States Navy veteran serving as an Ensign nurse during WWII. Rosemary enjoyed bowling, playing cards, solving crosswords and spending time with her family.

Beloved wife of the late Edwin “Bud” Heartquist and Richard J. Butler. Loving mother of David M. Butler, Kathleen M. Walsh, Richard J. Butler, Thomas J. Butler, R. Lois Nutley, Madonna M. Mosher and Michael F. Butler. Proud Grandma of 14 and GG of 13. Dear sister of Jack Kasel and the late Connie Gootjes.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A Funeral Mass in Holy Family Church, Rockland will be held on Friday at 9 AM.
