Esdale, Rosemary A. (Hennessy) of W. Yarmouth, formerly of Quincy, died October 10, 2016. 

Beloved wife of the late Harold L. Esdale.  Loving mother of Stephen Esdale and his wife Gloria of Walpole, Anne Podolski and her husband Michael of Dedham, Carol Esdale of Weymouth, and the late Dennis Esdale. Sister of the late Gertrude Langis, Charles Hennessy, Rita Spellman, and John Hennessy.  Grandmother of Jessica, Stephen and Daniel Esdale, Maureen Palasek, Matthew and Kevin Podolski, and great grandmother to Sadie Palasek.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Rosemary’s life centered around her faith and family.  A longtime member of St. Ann’s Church she volunteered as a CCD instructor.  Rosemary worked as Deputy Commissioner for the MA Department of Revenue for many years.  She loved her children, grandchildren and great granddaughter.  She also enjoyed her time spent in Ft. Meyers, FL and Cape Cod. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 10:45 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 11:30 AM.  Burial in Mt. Benedict Cemetery, Boston. 

Donations in memory of Rosemary may be made to Cape Cod Healthcare Foundation, PO Box 370, Hyannis, MA 02601.
