Casey, Rosemary A. of Quincy, formerly of Dorchester, passed away September 27, 2011, after spending her final years at the Colonial Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Weymouth. Beloved daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Deeley) Casey. Loving sister of Francis Casey and his wife Margaret of Braintree, William Casey and his wife Janet of Georgetown and the late Walter and Gerard Casey. Lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Rosemary, like many others in her family, was a teacher. She earned her Undergraduate and Master’s degree from the Boston Teacher’s College. For two years from 1958-1960, Rosemary taught enlisted servicemen’s children, in both France and Japan. She later taught in Randolph, before spending many years in the Boston Public Schools at both the Paul A. Dever and the Mather Schools. Ms. Casey was a daily communicant at St. Ann’s Church in Quincy. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Memorial Mass in St. Ann’s Church, 757 Hancock Street, Quincy on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 10 AM. Donations in memory of Rosemary may be made to St. Ann’s Church, 757 Hancock Street, Quincy, MA 02170.
