Tyrrell, Rose Mary ( Esposito) of Hingham, died on Thursday, September 2, 2010. Rose was born in Italy in 1925. She arrived in the United States at age 5. She lived in Cohasset for 25 years and was a Hingham resident for the rest of her life. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul E. Tyrrell. Loving mother of Charles Tyrrell of New Hampshire. Daughter of the late Joseph & Rachel (Conte) Esposito. Sister of Joseph “Billy” Esposito and Louis and his wife Shirley Esposito all of Hingham and the late Samuel F. Esposito. Rose is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews. Rose was a long time member of the Sons of Italy in Hingham, she held many positions there and worked in many capacities. Rose was very proud of her Italian heritage. She was a former choir member at St. Paul’s Church in Hingham as well St. Mary’s Church in Hull. Rose could be found walking the entire length of Nantasket beach, she loved to walk. As the matriarch of the family, she was the one to organized and remind everyone of all the family functions. She was extremely organized and her specialty was attention to all the small details. But the center of her life was her devotion to her family, she will be sadly missed by all those who were blessed to have known her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Monday 4-8pm in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Saint Paul’s Church at 10 AM. Burial in Woodside Cemetery, Cohasset.
