Rose Mary Ross

Ross, Rose Mary, of Squantum, died on January 28, 2011. Beloved wife of 55 years to Donald V. Ross, Sr. of Squantum. Devoted mother of Margaret Ritchie and her husband Robert of Weymouth, Rosemary Nunes and her husband Dr. John of CA, Michelle Locke and her husband Jeff of Bourne and Donald V. Ross, Jr. and his wife Carolyn of Quincy. Cherished Granny of Bobby, Amanda, Allison, Thomas, Courtney, Matthew and Nicole. Loving sister of the late Paul McDonald, Julia Kenney, Thomas King and Arthur Page. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Rose Mary was a CCD teacher at Star of the Sea Church and a teacher’s aide at the Squantum Elementary School as well as various other schools in Quincy with special needs children. Most recently she worked at the South Shore Plaza as a customer service representative, for over 20 years. She was also a member and friend of the Robert I. Nickerson Post in Squantum. Her main passion was being with her family. She will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday from 4-8 in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Saturday, prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
