Rose M. Sutcliffe

Sutcliffe, Rose M. (Ternullo) of Hingham, originally Lexington and the West End, died March 27, 2023.  

Rose adored her family and being with her sisters. She worked as a seamstress and dressmaker in Boston and loved to bake brownies and chocolate chip cookies. She was an avid reader and enjoyed taking long walks and gardening. Rose was a smart woman and self taught herself finance and to be independent, which was very important to her. She was a hard working woman who was thoughtful, proud and loving. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Beloved wife of the late George Sutcliffe. Loving sister of the late Josephine “Jay” Cristadoro, Ann Orsi, and James Ternullo. Also survived by many well loved nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, and her friends at the Allerton House. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Friday 930-10:30 AM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM followed by the Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, Hingham at 11 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
