Rosanna M. Corliss

Corliss, Rosanna M. (Doherty) of Quincy, formerly of Dorchester and South Boston, died on July 5, 2013. Rosanna loved to play cards and Bingo, but the foundation of her life was her family. She adored each of them, especially her grandchildren. They are saddened at her loss, but feel blessed to have had such a special woman in their lives. She will be deeply missed.  

The beloved wife of 64 years and best friend of Michael B. Corliss, Sr. Devoted mother of Michael B. “Barney” Corliss, Jr.  of South Boston, John J. Corliss and his wife Mal of Natick, James P. Corliss and Margaret A. “Peggy” Corliss both of Quincy and CDR Paul Corliss, USN (Ret) of San Diego, CA, Cherished grandmother of Cpt. Meaghan Balser, USAF, Colleen Corliss, Dr. Bethany Corliss-DaRocha and Joseph Corliss. Great grandmother of Camille, Gabriel and James, whom she loved dearly. Rosanna is also survived many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Daughter of the late James and Margaret (Canny) Doherty. She is pre-deceased by five brothers and 3 sisters.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
