Ronald W. Hayes

Ronald W. Hayes, of Quincy, formerly of Weymouth, died November 1, 2021 at the age of 80.

Ron worked as a salesman for Best Chevrolet for over 30 years. He was the owner of Bayside Window Cleaning and the Casa Loma Night Club in East Bridgewater for many years and a part owner of Captain Fishbones at Marina Bay in Quincy. Ron was a good cook and enjoyed boating. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was the son of the late Charles and Altomare (Campanale) Hayes. Loving father of Cheryl Simpson and her late husband Paul of Pembroke; Ronald W. “RJ” Hayes, Jr. of Plymouth; Kristine Hoxie and her husband Kevin of Kingston; and Leslie H. Norton and her husband Matthew of Pembroke. Proud “Papa” of Nicole, Joseph, Adam, Kyle, Zachary, Matthew II, Kristofer, Colin, Jaden, Jesse, Samantha, and great grandchildren, Connor, Charles, and Harrison. Brother of Michael Hayes and his wife Donna of Hanover; Marie Baumeister and her husband Theodore of West Bridgewater; Carolyn Tedford of TX; and Andrea Bacher and her late husband George of NH. Former husband of Mary L. Hayes of Kingston. Also survived by his girlfriend Nancy Jurkiewicz and and her daughter Jillian Timmons of Quincy, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Sunday 11/14/21 2-6 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald Street (off Central Street), HINGHAM. Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9 AM on Monday 11/15/21 prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 10 AM. Cremation will follow.
