Ronald J. Frado

Mr. Ronald J. Frado, of Weymouth, passed away on July 27, 2022.

Born in Cambridge, a son of the late Edward and Ruth (Coash) Frado, Ron worked for many years as a salesman for Summit Motor Products and Market America. He spent his younger days very active, playing football, skiing and was in the Navy Reserves. He coached his daughters soccer teams and never missed one of their recitals or plays. He loved dancing with his redheaded wife Kathy. 

He was a longtime board member for the Sons of Italy in Weymouth and a member of Spindles Auto Club. A World War II fanatic, Ron always had the latest history book borrowed from the local libraries. He loved collecting military antiques, model cars and airplanes. Ron was a proud and faithful Republican. His wise cracks (Ron-isms) will be deeply missed by all those that knew and loved him. 

Beloved husband of Kathleen A. (Murphy) Frado of Weymouth. Loving father of Laura E. Frado and her husband, Steven Rosenblatt of New York City and Kathryn L. Frado of Weymouth. Brother of Edward L. Frado, Jr and Elaine, of Florida and Richard Frado and Ronilee of Pennsylvania. Grandfather of Eloise and Oliver Rosenblatt. Also survived by a loving extended family. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Sunday from 1-4PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Cremation will follow.
