Ronald Derosa

DeROSA, Ronald, 80, of Hull, died Sunday July 1, 2018.  

Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Romolo and Mary (Clark) DeRosa.  Beloved husband of the late Alethea (Livingstone) DeRosa.  Devoted father of Lisa DeRosa of Hull and her longtime companion Eric Smith, and Ronald DeRosa and his wife Lisa (Conran) of Framingham.  Loving Pop-Pop to his grandson, Nicholas DeRosa.  

Ronald was a graduate of Hingham High School.  He served in The United States ARMY Reserves, and worked for many years as an Upholsterer for Twin City Upholsterers.  

Ronald enjoyed fishing, lobstering, basketball, softball, bowling, and was an avid poker player.  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Hull, and took great pride in organizing the weekly summer ice cream parties at Sunset Point Vacation House.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday from 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. Family and friends will gather in the funeral home beginning at 9:00 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Parish in St. Ann’s Church, Hull at 10 AM. Burial in Hull Village Cemetery, Hull.  

Expressions of sympathy may be made in Ronald’s memory to Hull Knights of Columbus Council 4865, 440 Nantasket Ave. Hull, MA 02045, to benefit future ice cream parties at Sunset Point Vacation House hosted by the Council.
