Roger A. Puglisi

Puglisi, Roger A. of Weymouth, passed away on June 28, 2014 after a long illness.

Roger was a graduate of Quincy High School and started his career in the supermarket business with Curtis Farm Markets at the age of 17 and worked through all the changes retiring with Stop and Shop after 52 years. Roger was an avid train enthusiast and a life time member of the South Shore Model Railway Club. He was a former member of the Braintree Gun Club and  also the Army National Guard.

Beloved husband of  Kathleen (Hervimaki) “Kay’’ “Babe” for 51 years.

Son of the late Santo and Florence Puglisi. Survived by his son, Roger Wayne Puglisi and his wife, Denise, of Plymouth and their son, Kyle. Step daughter, Deborah Minor of North Carolina and her children, Kelly Raymond, Justin and Lindsay Minor and great grandchildren Samuel Agostino, Dylan, Emma, Logan, and Noah Minor. Brother of Joanne Puglisi of Weymouth and the late Patricia Puglisi. Also survived by relatives in Presque, Maine and best friends of Randy and Kathy Harris of Goodyear, Arizona. Also survived by other friends and relatives.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 3-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18) followed Funeral Services at 7 PM. Cremation to follow.
