Rocco J. Vasile Jr.

Vasile, Rocco J., Jr. of Weymouth, formerly of Boston died April 25, 2014. 

Rocco proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. He worked at Bruinswick Biomedical as a machinist for 55 years developing medical devices we still use today. As an active member of the Weymouth Elks for 35 years, he was involved in many of their social activities and events. Rocco also enjoyed golfing, shuffle board, and New England sports. He will be remembered for his strong will, generous nature, and never losing his sense of humor. 

Beloved husband of 57 years to Priscilla (Millette) Vasile of Weymouth. Devoted father of Rocco Vasile and his wife Wendy, Margaret McLeod and her husband Bruce, Michael Vasile and his wife Stacy, all of Weymouth and Anthony Vasile and his wife Colleen of Plymouth. Cherished “Papa” of Anthony, Francesco, Stephanie, Daniel, Jennifer, Alicia, Michael, AJ, Brittany, Angela, and great-grandson Frankie. Loving brother of Mary DeSantis of Revere, Patrick Vasile of Weymouth, Alice Hoyt of Foxboro, Geraldine DelGrosso of Medford, and the late Francis Vasile, Patricia Deleone, and Rita Vasile. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital)  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Albert the Great Church, Weymouth at 10 AM. Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne.
