Roberta L. Mcgrath

 Roberta L.  (Powers) McGrath  of Hingham, died November 18, 2015. The beloved wife of the late Charles A. McGrath. Loving mother of Mary McGrath of Hull and Daniel McGrath of Braintree. Daughter of the late John J. and Charlotte (Karrer) Powers.  Sister of the late Anne Powers, Mary Sommerfeldt, Helen Mansfield, Joan Powers, John J. Powers, Jr. Carol Morris, Robert and Richard Powers and Catherine Duffus. Grandmother of Michael, Brendan, Colleen, Dylan and Erik. Great Grandmother of Jacob and James. Sister in Law of Dottie Powers of Weymouth. Dear friend of Mary Ellen Dalton of Weymouth. Roberta is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Roberta graduated from Hingham High School and the Lynn Hospital School of Nursing. She was the Public Health Nurse for the Town of Hull for 34 years. An avid reader and Red Sox fan. Roberta also enjoyed listening to Irish music, gardening and travel. She was devoted to her family and will be sadly missed.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6pm in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Parish in St. Ann’s Church, Hull at 10 AM.

Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham.
