Robert Walter Fraser

Robert Walter Fraser, 94, of Englewood, FL, and Melrose, passed away on November 29, 2016.

Robert was a Melrose Firefighter until his retirement in 1977. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Myakka Pines Golf Club in Englewood, FL. Robert also enjoyed playing bridge, the organ, and traveling. Robert proudly served during World War 2 with the United States Army.

Husband of the late Ann (Walsh) Fraser. Father of Carol A. Brown and her husband, David, of Weymouth, and the late Robert W. Fraser, Jr. Brother of Lester, Harvey, and Donald Fraser, Evelyn O’Leary, and the late Lenny, James, and John Fraser. Grandfather of Gordon Brown and his wife, Kristy, and Stuart Brown and his wife, Casey. Great grandfather of Hadley Brown. Longtime companion of Dotty Turner of Venice, FL.
