Smith, Robert W. of Hingham , July 31, 2002. A decorated USMC Vietnam Veteran (Ret.) The beloved son of Lawrence & Irene (Mitchell) O’Brien of Hingham. Husband of Sheila (Skerry) Smith of Quincy. Father of Crystal Smith Harris & Robert “Bo” Smith, Jr. both of Quincy. Brother of Paul “Skip” Smith of VT and Destiny O’Brien of Boston and the late Michelle O’Brien. Grandfather of Skyla, Victoria, Alexis & AbiRose Harris. Uncle of Morgan Smith of VT. Nephew to his devoted Uncle Richard Mitchell of Brockton. Robert is also survived by many cousins. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM Monday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Church of the Resurrection, 1057 Main St.,Hingham at 10 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 3-7 PM. Military burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne Monday at 2:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Robert may be made to Pine Street Inn, 444 Harrison Ave., Boston, MA 02118. Life member of DAV, American Legion, Marine Corp.
