Robert W. Cronin

Cronin, Robert W. “Bob” of Quincy formerly of Braintree, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family June 6, 2014. 

Beloved husband of 53 years of Maureen T. (Earle) Cronin of Quincy. Loving father of Stephen R. Cronin of Quincy, Michael P. Cronin and his wife Tracy of Weymouth, Darylyn McGrath and her husband Joseph of Pembroke and the late Daniel H. Cronin. Dear brother of Barbara Ostis and her husband Harley of Stoughton and the late Francis, Catherine McDermott, Mary Cronin, Margaret, “Margie” DePascale, Edward, Thomas, Patrick “Joey” and John.  Loving in-law of Claire Cronin and Sabino “Salvie” DePascale both of Savin Hill.  Bob is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. 

Bob proudly served his country in the US Army.  He was a former employee of Stride Rite for over 25 years and The City of Quincy for 20 years. He loved spending time with his family.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on MONDAY 4-8PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home Tuesday at 8:30AM prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 9:30AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
