Dunne, Robert W. “Bo” of Weymouth, died unexpectedly, October 23, 2018 at the age of 63.

Beloved son of Jilda Dunne of Braintree and the late Edward T. Dunne Jr.  Loving brother of Edward T. Dunne III and his wife Kathy of Franklin and Patricia Dunne of Quincy.  Devoted uncle of Michael Dunne of North Attleboro and Stephen Dunne of Woonsocket, RI.  Also survived by many other extended family and dear friends.

Bo was born in Boston, grew up in Braintree and was most recently living in Weymouth.  He graduated from Archbishop Williams, class of 1972 and later received his Bachelors degree from Bridgewater State College.
Bo was a talented musician and song writer. He played guitar and had a beautiful singing voice.  He shared his music at family gatherings, as well as at coffee houses during his college years.  He was very proud of the CD he recorded titled “Time To Join The Living”.  Bo was also a published author of several books and poetry and enjoyed expressing his feelings through his writing.

His family loved him dearly and they will miss his smile and sense of humor.  Bo had challenges in life, but he was strong and he loved life.  He will be remembered for his gentle soul and good heart.  Bo will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Monday in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Robert may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
