Robert S. Conway

Robert S. “Bob” Conway of Braintree, died April 10, 2017.

Bob has lived in Braintree for 50 years. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict and went on to serve the Weymouth community as a police officer for over 30 years. Bob was a member of the Blue Knights Chapter 1 in Brockton and the Braintree Yacht Club. He loved fishing, boating and repairing small engines. Bob could always be found tinkering with something. He will be dearly missed.   

Beloved husband of Donna (MacDonald) Conway of Braintree. Devoted father of Bobby Conway, Jr. and his companion Jane Lesogor and Shawn Conway and his wife Kristen Bennette-Conway, all of Weymouth. Cherished grandfather of Jimmy Bennette. Loving brother of the late Charles Conway, William Conway and Shirley Miskinis. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).

Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Service in Union Congregational Church, Braintree at 10 AM.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Bob may be made to Union Congregational Memorial Fund, 74 Commercial Street, Braintree MA 02184.
